The Secretary of Productive Development of the Municipality of Concordia, Sebastián Arístide, outlined some aspects that will be part of the launch of the second edition of the Expo Concordia Produce to be held this coming Monday.
In this regard, he highlighted that “we are reaffirming an event that we want to be the showcase for all local production. When I speak of local production, I am not referring only to the countryside, but to everything that is the production of goods and services of the community of Concordia and the department.”
He insisted that “what we initially want is for it to be a space for the local entrepreneur, the rural entrepreneur, to be able to show themselves, make themselves known, and interact with a potential client or a potential supplier,” in addition to participating in a conference “that is designed to provide answers to the problems they face daily, to better understand the rules of the game and economic policy. That is the spirit of Concordia Produce,” he remarked.
On October 23, 24, and 25, the second edition of Concordia Produce will take place at the “Parque Central Viñedos Moulins” Fairgrounds with exhibitions, conferences, and a business round, based on the success of the first exhibition held last year. This Monday, June 29, the official presentation will take place, with the presence of authorities, representatives of the productive, service, and commercial sectors, and special guests.
Arístide remarked that “we want this not to be an event of the Municipality, but of the community of Concordia. Therefore, we are going to put a lot of effort into listening to each of the sectors that offer goods and services, giving them the space they need so they can find that opportunity to gain visibility. One can participate by attending the conferences, one can participate with a stand, one can participate as a member of the public,” he detailed, adding that “all the spaces or the Business Round are designed to find that opportunity to showcase themselves and do business.”
Among the confirmed activities, he mentioned that the Business Round will be the starting point for this edition of Concordia Produce, on Friday, October 23, in the morning. He said that it is “a space designed for the local entrepreneur or business owner to have an opportunity to find a strategic supplier, a client, or a partner, and in a space thought out, planned, and designed to generate that private environment.”
He announced that on Friday afternoon and Saturday morning there will be conferences and specified that “according to the surveys we have conducted, the most demanded topics have to do with the national economic outlook, understanding where it is heading and where we stand. Then, artificial intelligence is a highly demanded topic. How can I apply artificial intelligence in my business, in my profession, in my product? And also the whole issue of marketing and communication, digital channels.” He anticipated that “those topics will surely be part of the conference offerings.”
The opening of the Expo with access to the exhibition stands is scheduled for Friday the 23rd and will extend through Saturday the 24th and Sunday the 25th. “This is a space for visibility, thought out based on the fact that we ask the entrepreneur a lot, and the general objective is to be made visible, so that people ‘know me and know what I do.’ If sales happen later, even better,” he explained.
Finally, Arístide anticipated that next Monday, on the occasion of the official presentation at 8:00 PM at the Convention Center, “we will announce some other features to add value to an event that we hope will meet the demands of the people of Concordia.”
