In the framework of the commemoration of International Women's Day, the Municipality of Concordia, through the Department of Senior Citizen Policies, will carry out the meeting “Women Celebrating Life”, a proposal specially designed for older adults.
The activity will take place on Tuesday, March 10, from 4:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m., in Hall A of the Concordia Convention Center (Av. San Lorenzo Oeste 101).
During the day there will be live shows, raffles, a discussion panel and different recreational proposals, creating a space for meeting, celebration and recognition for senior women, highlighting their role in the community, promoting participation, the exchange of experiences and the strengthening of social ties in an atmosphere of joy and camaraderie.
In this sense, the Head of the Department of Senior Citizen Policies, Gladys Portugal, highlighted the importance of this type of initiative. “We want to celebrate our senior women, recognize their life stories, their strength and everything they have contributed and continue to contribute to our community. This meeting will be a space to share, enjoy and reaffirm that age is also a stage to continue celebrating life,” she expressed.
Likewise, Portugal invited all senior women to participate in this proposal: “We look forward to seeing you for a special afternoon, full of music, joy and moments to share among friends and companions.”
The Department of Senior Citizen Policies remarked that the meeting is part of the actions promoted by the municipality to foster well-being, social integration and the active participation of older adults in community life.
