ON THE EVE OF JULY 9TH, AZCUÉ LED THE HONORARY PERFORMANCE “THE LEGACY OF BEING ARGENTINE”
Mayor Francisco Azcué led this Tuesday night the Honorary Performance “The legacy of being Argentine” which took place at the Odeón Theater with the presence on stage of different artistic and cultural expressions.
The night began with “Homage to our country”, a choreographic proposal that combined technique, passion and contemporaneity, with the expressive force of our youth, directed by Teresita García de Costa, together with teachers Natalia Sánchez and Victoria Costa and the cast of the Orange Jazz Institute.
Then “The legacy of being Argentine” was presented, a staging with actors, dancers, projections and music, which traverses the roots, struggles, customs and dreams of our people, under the direction of Luis Oyarbide and the cast of the Sembrando Futuro Ballet.
The closing featured the presentation of the lyrical gala of the Verdiana Association, a musical proposal that crosses different eras and soundscapes, starting with chamber works by Argentine composers, to then delve into the emotion of duets and arias from emblematic operas of the universal repertoire. To finish, they performed a choral interpretation of classics from the traditional lyrical repertoire, combining voices, instruments and patriotic feelings in an unforgettable symphonic-choral experience.
This outstanding presentation was in charge of the Cantus Firmus Vocal Ensemble of the Verdiana Association of Paraná, accompanied by a small chamber orchestra and soloists from the institution and special guests under the general direction of Maestro Miguel Otti Gómez.
Accompanying the Mayor were Vice Mayor Magdalena Reta de Urquiza, members of the Cabinet, national and provincial legislators, councilors, representatives of the Armed Forces and Security Forces, social organizations and intermediate institutions, and the general public.
