The Undersecretariat of Development and Entrepreneurship of the Municipality of Concordia informs the continuity, during the month of May, of the Family Agroecological Gardens Program, an initiative open to the entire community that promotes the production of healthy food, environmental care, and the strengthening of the family economy.
Through meetings in different neighborhoods, the program provides practical tools and knowledge on agroecological cultivation, encouraging food autonomy and community work.
The schedule for the upcoming sessions is as follows:
Monday, May 4th
08:30 a.m.: CTM Neighborhood – La Bianca (Río Negro 131)
10:00 a.m.: San Pantaleón Neighborhood (Perú 2795 and De Los Viñedos)
Wednesday, May 6th
08:30 a.m.: 11 de Junio Neighborhood (Pedro Sauré between Tala and Diamante)
10:00 a.m.: Sarmiento Neighborhood (Pte. Illia and Árabe de Siria)
The proposal is organized by the Directorate of Cooperativism and Associativism together with the Department of Social Economy, consolidating public policies oriented towards sustainable local development.
In this regard, Ariel Gorostegui, representative of the Directorate of Cooperativism and Associativism, stated: “Giving continuity to this program means continuing to bet on the growth of families and the strengthening of the social fabric in the neighborhoods. Gardens not only generate food, they also generate community.”
Furthermore, he added: “We are accompanying the residents with training and concrete tools, promoting sustainable practices and a more solidary economy, where collective work is fundamental.”
The municipality invites all residents to join these activities, which continue to sow the future in Concordia.
