Mayor Enrique Cresto signed the agreement documentation with the National Government agencies for the implementation of the SUBE card in Concordia. In a meeting with the Government Secretary Alfredo Francolini and the Director of the Transit Center Walter Baez, details were finalized for the start of the adaptation process to the new modality, which will bring various benefits, such as improving safety in transport units for bus drivers, as they will stop using cash.
"Mayor Cresto signed the agreement through which the program begins to materialize, after we complied with all the documentation and the necessary prior procedures," pointed out Baez at the end of a work meeting in the mayor's office. "It is scheduled for mid-March to begin the implementation of the system," anticipated the head of the municipality's Transit area, and indicated that "companies must send their information to Nación Servicios, which is the National Government company in charge of the SUBE card. By the month of June, the entire implementation process should be finished and then begin to function," he indicated.
"The SUBE system is a program that the Mayor has been working on and considers its implementation important, because it will bring many benefits. In addition to Concordia integrating into a national system, this will represent many benefits for both bus companies and users of the public transport system," he maintained.
