The Decentralized Sanitary Works Entity (EDOS) continues with the Micro-Metering Program, with the objective of continuing to improve the quality of the service provided.
During 2020, despite the difficulties known to all, significant progress was achieved by increasing from 7,000 to 10,000 metered accounts in the residential drinking water network. For users who installed meters, this means a reduction in the municipal taxes they pay, and for the population as a whole, better control over the use of the network.
"It is necessary to prepare the distribution system to improve the service in conjunction with the commissioning of the new Drinking Water Plant," stated officials from EDOS.
