The process was implemented by the Traffic and Transport Directorate in collaboration with the IT Directorate and aims at streamlining, modernization, transparency, and environmental care.
The Traffic and Transport Directorate of the Municipality of Concordia has implemented a major innovation in the process of obtaining the National Driver's License by incorporating the theoretical exam in a digital format, which represents a significant advance in terms of efficiency, sustainability, and modernization of the State.
Government Secretary Luciano Dell´Olio highlighted that “this responds to the various actions that have been implemented in the municipal administration and that can be achieved through joint work between Traffic and IT, bringing many benefits such as security, transparency, and debureaucratization, but also environmental care, as less paper will start to be used”.
In this regard, he announced: “We will continue to train personnel regarding these new tools, which, if we do not acquire and incorporate them into our work, will leave us behind in the digital age. These instances serve to provide the resident of Concordia with a better and more efficient service”.
For his part, the Director of Traffic and Transport Emanuel Galli indicated: “Today we are launching the digital theoretical exam along with the incorporation of the new system with multiple benefits. It should be noted that only those exams that have been passed are printed; at the same time, this will allow the applicant to save time in obtaining their license since they get their result in a few minutes. The implementation of the digital exam will provide more transparency in the administrative act”.
To this, the Director of IT Gustavo Berón maintained that “we seek to streamline procedures, reduce paper usage, and increase transparency. The system that will be used allows for quick, agile, and objective correction since it does not depend on a person to grade it. The exam has a battery of random questions, beyond those that are mandatory”.
MAIN BENEFITS OF THE NEW SYSTEM
Modernization and transparency: eliminates result manipulation and reinforces institutional trust.
Automatic and immediate correction: the citizen obtains their result instantly.
Administrative efficiency: eliminates the use of paper and the need for manual corrections.
Accessibility and inclusion: adaptations for different user profiles.
Sustainability: significant reduction in the consumption of paper and materials.
Flexibility: allows for easy updating of the exam content.
Better experience for the citizen: faster, clearer, and more accessible procedure.
