The Municipality of Concordia, through the Department of Social Economy, under the Directorate of Cooperativism and Associativism, held an informative meeting aimed at entrepreneurs from the Social Economy Fair and the River Fair, with the objective of presenting the proposal for the Expo Textil Concordia 2026, an event that will bring together the main actors of the textile, graphic, personalization, and technology sectors of the Argentine Litoral and Uruguay.
The activity included the participation of the Head of the Department of Social Economy, Miguel Parra, the Undersecretary of Development and Entrepreneurship, Gabriel Enguelberg, and the organizer of the Expo Textil Concordia 2026, Ezequiel Morinico, who shared with the entrepreneurs the main guidelines of the exhibition, the participation modalities, and the opportunities that the event will provide for entrepreneurs, businesses, SMEs, and companies in the region.
During the meeting, Miguel Parra highlighted the importance of creating connection spaces that allow for the strengthening of the local productive fabric.
“From the Municipality, we firmly believe that the growth of our entrepreneurs also depends on the possibility of accessing new markets, generating contacts, and building strategic alliances. That is why we support this private initiative, convinced that joint work between the State and the private sector is the path to boost the economic development of Concordia,” he stated.
For his part, the Undersecretary of Development and Entrepreneurship, Gabriel Enguelberg, valued the articulation between the public and private sectors as a tool to boost local development: “Our challenge is to continue building bridges between those who undertake, those who invest, and those who generate employment. When the State supports and the private sector bets on the city, real opportunities are created for more entrepreneurs to grow, professionalize, and access new markets. This type of initiative reflects the development model we want for Concordia: a city that bets on work, innovation, and production,” he expressed.
Meanwhile, the organizer of the Expo Textil Concordia 2026, Ezequiel Morinico, remarked that the event seeks to consolidate itself as a reference space for the entire industry value chain: “The Expo Textil is born with the intention of bringing together manufacturers, suppliers, entrepreneurs, and companies in one place to generate business, share knowledge, and show the latest trends in the sector. We want the entrepreneurs of Concordia to be protagonists and find in this event a true opportunity for growth,” he pointed out.
