Within the framework of a new meeting of the Board of Directors of the Mixed Entity of Tourism of Concordia, progress was made in the definition and validation of a work agenda that reaffirms the commitment of public-private management to strengthening the tourism positioning of Concordia, with a special focus on the summer season and on promotional actions sustained over time.
During the meeting, the schedule of summer activities was presented under the concept “Concordia in your senses”, a comprehensive proposal that highlights local identity through sensory experiences, with artistic interventions and tastings of regional flavors in emblematic spaces of the city such as the Naranjal de Pereda, the Castillo San Carlos, the Costanera and the pedestrian street of Concordia, promoting the meeting between residents and visitors and the activation of public spaces with cultural and tourist content.
Likewise, the balance of the tourism promotion actions recently developed was shared, among which two specialized press trips stand out. The first, held from December 9 to 11, had the participation of the media LADEVI, Viajando, Radar de Viajes and Mensaje Turístico; while the second, developed from December 16 to 18, received Radio Continental, El Enviador, Boarding Pax and Paseos y Turismo. In both cases, the journalists toured the diversity of experiences that the destination offers for the summer season, contributing to the dissemination of the tourist offer and the consolidation of the image of Concordia in strategic markets.
In this sense, the promotion of air connectivity was especially highlighted, based on the recent inauguration of the Concordia Airport, which allows connecting the city with Aeroparque in just 45 minutes through the operation of the airline Humming Airways, strengthening accessibility and expanding opportunities for tourism development.
As part of this comprehensive communication strategy, the recent presence of Concordia in Caras magazine, one of the most recognized publications in Argentina, with a circulation of more than 30,000 weekly copies and distribution in Argentina and Uruguay, was valued, among other guidelines and actions aimed at continuing to position the city at a national and regional level.
The initiatives addressed and agreed upon in the Board of Directors reflect a policy of participatory, planned and sustained management, based on the articulated work between the public sector and the private sector, with the objective of consolidating Concordia as a comprehensive, competitive tourist destination with its own identity, facing the present and future challenges of local tourism development.
