Within the framework of the joint work between the Municipality and the Government of Entre Ríos, a tour was carried out through different spaces in the city linked to family farming, food production, and the promotion of healthy habits.
The day included the participation of the Director of Agriculture of the Province of Entre Ríos, Carina Gallego, together with members of the Secretariat of Productive Development of the Municipality of Concordia.
During the tour, educational institutions, family farming producers, and families who are part of the Family Garden program were visited, with the aim of learning about the experiences being developed in the territory, exchanging knowledge, and strengthening support policies for those who produce their own food.
The visit of the provincial official allowed for the strengthening of the bond and coordination between the different actors working on the development of family horticulture, highlighting the initiatives carried out daily by residents and families of Concordia.
From the Secretariat of Productive Development, they highlighted the importance of supporting these experiences, which contribute to promoting healthy eating, encouraging production for self-consumption, and strengthening family horticulture as a tool for development and well-being for families.
In this sense, the Secretary of Productive Development, Sebastián Arístide, highlighted the value of territorial work and noted: “It is essential to be close to our residents, learn about their experiences, and support every initiative that contributes to producing healthy food. Joint work with the Province allows us to strengthen these policies and continue generating tools for families who are committed to family farming.”
The Municipality of Concordia, through the Secretariat of Productive Development, will continue to strengthen coordination with provincial agencies, institutions, and residents, promoting initiatives linked to local production, family farming, and access to healthy food.
