During this morning, Mayor Francisco Azcué was touring the La Bianca settlement, a sector that was also severely affected by Saturday's storm, where the Municipality of Concordia was working on the ground attending to the residents' demands.
As has been happening throughout these days, in a joint operation between different areas, the work is focused on assisting the affected families and clearing public roads by removing trees, branches, and lifting and replacing poles.
Personnel and equipment from the Secretariat of Public Services continue with the cleaning and clearing tasks of public roads, work that is essential to enable traffic and the normal development of the residents' daily activities, mainly in Villa Zorraquín.
The restoration of public lighting is carried out as access to the affected places is allowed, and collaboration continues with the tasks of restoring electrical power.
In addition, the Directorate of Electrotechnics conducted a survey in different sectors of the city to verify the status of security cameras.
FIELDWORK
In parallel, territorial agents from the Secretariat of Human Development continue surveying, assisting residents, and providing responses to the demands that arise, with priority given to attending to the most vulnerable situations.
After having toured the Pampa Soler neighborhood on Monday and the La Bianca settlement this Tuesday, the operation will continue this Wednesday in Osvaldo Magnasco and Villa Zorraquín, where municipal teams will continue providing attention and support to the residents.
As of Tuesday afternoon and through the Undersecretariat of Social Development, a total of 402 requests for assistance were registered.
It should be remembered that to request assistance, the Municipality keeps the WhatsApp number 345 413-2744 enabled or in person at the offices on La Rioja and Sáenz Peña.
