Almost a week after the storm that severely affected the city, the Municipality of Concordia, in a coordinated action between different areas, continues working in different neighborhoods in order to respond to the demands presented.
The most affected sectors have been Villa Zorraquín, Osvaldo Magnasco, Pampa Soler, La Arrocera neighborhoods and the La Bianca settlement where machinery, vehicles, personnel and territorial teams are carrying out different tasks within the framework of the emergency.
The mayor Francisco Azcué was touring the sectors, talking with the residents and supervising the work being carried out, for which he determined, from the first day, that all municipal areas work in a coordinated manner to assist the affected families, clear public roads and restore essential services.
The Secretariat of Public Services continues with the work of removing trees and branches, and replacing poles to facilitate the restoration of electrical service and public lighting. In addition, repairs were made to traffic lights and security cameras.
For its part, the Secretariat of Human Development was working in the field, conducting surveys and providing assistance to families. As of this Friday morning, 410 requests for assistance have been received, prioritizing the attention of the most complex situations.
The main demands have to do with sheet metal, waterproofing materials, mattresses and clothing. In addition, deliveries of food modules, drinking water and cleaning kits are being carried out.
To request assistance, the Municipality keeps the WhatsApp number 345 413-2744 enabled. Inquiries can also be made in person at the offices located at Sáenz Peña and La Rioja.
