Together with Mayor Francisco Azcué, he supervised the work carried out at the “Las Palmeras” campsite and at the “Termas de Ayuí” complex and Water Park.
Governor Rogelio Frigerio toured two strategic tourist spaces in the Salto Grande perilake that the provincial government recovered and enhanced with the aim of strengthening the tourism offer and generating development in the Concordia region. These were the Las Palmeras campsite and the Termas de Ayuí complex and Water Park.
At the Las Palmeras campsite, together with the mayor of Concordia, Francisco Azcué, Frigerio supervised the work carried out after the recovery of the property's possession, which took place at the beginning of December 2024. The governor highlighted that it was a process that began with the decision to recover "assets that belong to everyone and that for a long time, more than 20 years, were in the hands of some opportunists who usurped them."
The project included the comprehensive improvement of that property, as well as the Termas de Ayuí complex, and recovering the possession of Tortuga Alegre. The governor stressed that it was possible thanks to institutional collaboration, especially in a context of limited resources, which they made up for with "teamwork." In this sense, Frigerio mentioned the joint participation of the Administrative Commission for the Special Fund of Salto Grande (Cafesg), the Mixed Technical Commission (CTM), the municipality, the province, and the Corporation for the Development of Salto Grande (Codesal). "We all work together and everyone contributes what they can," he indicated.
For his part, the Secretary General of the Government, Mauricio Colello, valued: "This that is happening today gives us enormous pride." He mentioned that "with great joy we can say that the Ayuí hotel is recovered, the Las Palmeras campsite is recovered and brought up to standard." He highlighted that "behind this there is a lot of work; it is a source of pride for all residents of Concordia, for all residents of Entre Ríos, and it is an invitation to all tourists who can come to visit us."
“CRUCIAL ACTION FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF CONCORDIA”
While the mayor, Francisco Azcué, highlighted the fundamental role of the governor in this process and said he felt "proud to belong to this project led by Frigerio." For the mayor, this initiative demonstrated "the importance of having leaders who mark a path, who have determination, because to do this one had to have a lot of determination, a lot of firmness." He also recognized the leadership of the provincial governor, who "led us all, the municipality, all the areas that have intervened. And here is the result, the recovery of jewels of tourism in Entre Ríos." He maintained that this government action "is crucial for the development of Concordia. The goal is to take care of this and that these places never again remain in the hands of politicians' friends."
The president of the Corporation for the Development of Salto Grande (Codesal), Eduardo Cristina, expressed "enormous pride" for the recovery of the tourist properties. He highlighted the magnitude of the joint effort, detailing that the preparation of these places required approximately 650 million pesos and had the participation of multiple entities.
The governor also toured the Termas de Ayuí and Water Park, where a comprehensive enhancement was carried out that included painting pools, repairs to restrooms, replacement of lighting, renovation of games, and recovery of jacuzzis, with the aim of improving the visitor experience and giving a new boost to one of the main tourist attractions in the area. The work was in charge of Codesal.
