The city of Concordia is preparing to experience a new edition of its greatest popular celebration with the start of the 2026 Carnival, one of the most prominent cultural and tourist events in the country. The official opening will take place on Saturday, January 24, at the “Atanasio Bonfiglio” Corsódromo, beginning a season that will span six nights.
Recognized nationwide as the most passionate Carnival in the country, the Concordia Carnival is characterized by the magnitude of its staging, the artistic quality of its comparsas, and the strong cultural identity expressed in each parade, consolidating itself as a central attraction of the summer in Entre Ríos.
The 2026 edition will take place over six nights: Saturdays, January 24 and 31, February 7 and 14, Monday, February 16, and Saturday, February 21, bringing together thousands of residents and tourists each day.

STORIES
In the 2026 edition, the comparsas are once again betting on proposals with strong symbolic, historical, and cultural content.
Bella Samba will present “Blood of the Earth: It Came to be History, It Came to be Carnival”, a performance that pays homage to the vine as a symbol of life, work, and cultural transformation. Through a symbolic and temporal journey, the comparsa addresses the origin of wine in the earth and ancestral labor, its passage through the great civilizations of history, and its arrival in Argentina as a national beverage. The parade culminates in a collective celebration where the toast, music, and dance evoke identity, encounter, and passion.
Emperatriz will bring to the stage “Argentina: The Sun's Journey”, an allegory that proposes a journey across the country from end to end. The Sun acts as the common thread of a journey that traverses landscapes, traditions, and emotions, reflecting the cultural diversity and deep identity of Argentina, transformed into rhythm, color, and movement.
Imperio will present “The Maneco Legacy”, a proposal that vindicates the Afro-Entre Ríos memory and the contribution of the Black community to local identity. With samba and candombe as central expressions, the comparsa pays tribute to history, cultural resistance, and celebration as an act of freedom.
Ráfaga will unfold “Universal Magic”, a performance inspired by the cosmos, the zodiac, and the energy that connects people. Through rhythm, dance, and movement, the parade transforms into a symbolic experience in which each body on stage represents a star in constant connection with the universe.
COLLECTIVE WORK
The Director of the Permanent Carnival Entity, Dr. Luis Sánchez, highlighted the importance of this new edition and the work carried out throughout the year: “Each edition of the Concordia Carnival is the result of an enormous collective effort. The comparsas have been working intensely to present high-level artistic proposals, with content that highlights our cultural identity and our history. The carnival is not just a show; it is a cultural expression that represents us as a community.”
Likewise, Sánchez remarked on the impact of the event for the city: “The carnival generates tourist movement, work for hundreds of families, and positions Concordia at a national level. We invite residents and visitors to be part of this celebration that is the pride of all those from Concordia.”
