The Municipal Executive is working on various actions aimed at modernizing and updating the operation of the Municipal Loan Fund, a Mixed Economy Society, as the entity is governed by an ordinance dating back to 1940.
The objective is to adapt the Mixed Fund to the new financial reality, modernizing its activity, relaunching the credit card, strengthening joint work with various businesses in the city, and developing actions for greater control and organization carried out by the administration in the different areas of the Municipality of Concordia.
Expenditure optimization is another of the actions that will be worked on. An example of this is that council members Eliana Lagraña and Felipe Sastre were appointed as board members, a function they will perform ad honorem. Their positions will be sent to the Deliberative Council for ratification.
The Mixed Fund has in the composition of its share capital the participation of the Municipality of Concordia at 50%, while the other 50% belongs to private capital that operates with the entity, such as the case of the Uoemc, the Light and Power Union, among others.
