The Deliberative Council of Concordia held its 30th Ordinary Session of the current period this Thursday, addressing a legislative agenda focused on traffic management, the handling of concerns from professional institutions, and the resolution of requests from residents. The session was led by the vice-mayor and president of the legislative body, Licenciada Magdalena Reta de Urquiza, who at the end of the meeting provided details on the enacted ordinances and highlighted the institutional and community activities planned for the coming days.
Formalizing the two-way traffic flow on San Juan street in the La Bianca neighborhood
The legislative body formally approved the ordinance that establishes two-way vehicular traffic on San Juan street, in the section between Antártida Argentina and Cabo 1.º A.R.A. González streets.
The measure regularizes a daily situation in the neighborhood, as the artery was formally listed as one-way, but operated in practice as two-way for residents and bus lines. With the endorsement of the technical reports from the municipal Traffic Directorate, the placement of the corresponding signage will be arranged, including a "Wrong Way" sign on the southwest sidewalk of the intersection with Cabo 1.º A.R.A. González to prevent confusion.
Technical response to the Professional College of Master Builders and Technicians
During the day, the parliamentary body gave a formal response to a request submitted by the Professional College of Master Builders and Technicians of Entre Ríos. The professional entity had formulated a request for the review and updating of municipal regulations regarding electrical installations. In this regard, Reta de Urquiza clarified that the regulations in force in the Municipality of Concordia are fully aligned with the current frameworks and guidelines issued by the Provincial Energy Regulatory Agency (EPRE), which is why the corresponding response was sent notifying said validity.
Approval of private dispatches and processing of administrative case files from residents
The commissioned work of the Deliberative Council was also reflected in the approval of various committee dispatches linked to individual petitions presented by citizens of Concordia. Among the administrative case files processed and resolved in the chamber, requests for land subdivision stand out, as well as the granting of payment plans for the regularization of municipal taxes.
