The Atanasio Bonfiglio Corsódromo exploded with passion this Saturday at the fourth parade of the Concordia Carnival, and the carnival passion was broadcast live nationwide by the C5N signal, which led the news channel ratings between 11:00 PM and 1:00 AM. Added to this are the usual broadcasts carried out by local media through social networks, which are usually followed by thousands of online viewers, confirming that the greatest summer festival was one of the most-watched events this Saturday throughout the country.
Ráfaga, Bella Samba, Emperatriz, and Imperio, in that order, stepped onto the main avenue track of the Corsódromo, and made the more than 12,000 spectators who once again filled the venue in the stands and the VIP sector dance. While the television broadcast was taking place, the C5N production team informed the Carnival Entity that the event reached a rating much higher than the other news channels during the live satellite broadcast from Concordia, ensuring that many more Argentines get to know our carnival.
"THE CARNIVAL IS THE DEEPEST POPULAR HERITAGE"
During the broadcast of the Buenos Aires channel, the reporters spoke with the public who shared how the Carnival is experienced from the inside; there were words from tourists from Córdoba, Buenos Aires, Santa Fe, and different towns in the province of Entre Ríos, among others.
Among the public was also the mayor of the town of Fray Mamerto Esquiú, Catamarca province, Guillermo Ferreyra, who said, "I was surprised by the quality and the enormity of the show. It is the first time I have come, and it is a popular and cultural festival to recommend." The mayor of the Catamarca city announced that "we are going to talk with the Municipality of Concordia to be able to make exchange and training agreements. We have our own Carnival, and we would like to continue growing," he said, adding in statements to C5N that "the Concordia Carnival is no longer just from Concordia, it belongs to the whole country."
"The Carnival is the deepest popular heritage of Concordia. I have come on other occasions, and it is a wonderful cultural expression where great popular participation is seen," valued the mayor of Merlo, Buenos Aires province, Gustavo Menéndez. "It is a true family festival; what is seen in each costume has nothing to envy from any carnival in the world," he added.
Ferreyra and Menéndez witnessed the Carnival together with the administrator of ENOHSA Enrique Cresto, the mayor of Concordia Alfredo Francolini, the national deputy Mayda Cresto, the national senator Edgardo Kueider, and the Secretary of Economic Development, Tourism and Production Aldo Álvarez, who acted as hosts.
