The Concordia Carnival experienced its sixth and final night this Saturday, crowning a 2026 edition marked by massive attendance, a high artistic level, and an organization that consolidated the event as one of the main popular festivals in the country.
The “Atanasio Bonfiglio” Corsódromo was once again the stage for a night of pure emotion, with stands filled with residents and tourists who passionately accompanied the conclusion of the carnival on a night full of glitter, rhythm, and celebration.
Bella Samba, Ráfaga, Imperio, and Emperatriz displayed all their talent and energy, providing a closing worthy of an edition that grew night after night.
20 YEARS OF THE CORSÓDROMO
The night was also the setting for a special recognition for the 20th anniversary of the “Atanasio Bonfiglio” Corsódromo, an occasion in which gifts were presented to the presidents of the participating comparsas and to the relatives of Atanasio Bonfiglio, in an emotional moment that highlighted the history and significance of the space that hosts this great popular festival year after year.
The Permanent Carnival Entity highlighted the very good general functioning of the event, especially the implementation of the QR code entry system, which allowed for faster access and improved the public's experience throughout the season, being widely valued by attendees.
In this regard, the Director of the Permanent Carnival Entity, Luis Sánchez, made a highly positive assessment of the 2026 edition: “We are closing a historic season, with record attendance and an extraordinary response from the public. This growth is the result of joint work with the comparsas, the support of the private sector, and the commitment of the different areas of the Municipality, which made it possible for the carnival to be experienced with order, safety, and artistic quality.”
Likewise, Sánchez added: “We want to deeply thank each comparsa, the families, the workers, and everyone who was part of this edition. The Concordia Carnival is not just a party, it is identity, culture, and passion, and this closing reaffirms the place it occupies at a regional and national level.”
SCRUTINY
On the other hand, the Permanent Carnival Entity reported that the official scrutiny will take place on Monday, February 23, starting at 2:00 PM, in the Assembly Hall of the Municipality of Concordia, an instance in which the winners of this edition will be announced.
With this great closing, the Concordia Carnival says goodbye to a 2026 edition that left its mark, reaffirming its sustained growth and its cultural, social, and tourist impact for the city.
