Within the framework of National Road Safety Day, the Traffic Center carried out various control and prevention operations at strategic points throughout the city this Thursday morning.
“It is a special date on which, summoned by the National Road Safety Agency, we are reinforcing controls and awareness actions, as is being done in the main cities of the country,” commented the director of the Traffic Center, Walter Baez, in this regard.
To prevent accidents on public roads, “public policies and, above all, daily controls are needed; it is something that the mayor Alfredo Francolini has ordered to be reinforced to improve traffic throughout the city,” he said. He also highlighted that “the courses taken to obtain a driver's license are important and contribute to helping have better coexistence on public roads.”
