The Municipality of Concordia, through the Undersecretariat of Education and Culture, informs that registration is now open for the “El Becario en Escena 2026” program, an initiative by the Provincial Autonomous Scholarship Institute aimed at promoting the artistic development of students from Entre Ríos.
The proposal is aimed at children, adolescents, and young people between 6 and 25 years of age who are regular students at the primary, secondary, tertiary, or university level, with at least three years of residency in the province of Entre Ríos. The program seeks to support and enhance their talents through a competition that awards cultural scholarships for their artistic training.
Registration is carried out in person at the Municipal Directorate of Education (Avellaneda 26), from Monday to Friday between 8:00 AM and 12:00 PM, and will remain open until June 24th. Interested parties may download the form from the official website of the Scholarship Institute or pick it up at the offices when registering.
“El Becario en Escena” will take place through in-person galas in different locations across the province, where participants may perform individually or in groups (up to six members). Each gala will feature a specialized jury that will evaluate the performances based on criteria such as interpretation, technique, creativity, and stage performance.
The competition includes different age categories: 6 to 12 years, 13 to 18 years, 19 to 25 years, and a group category. The disciplines include music, dance, and performing arts, excluding those linked to federated sports.
Participants must be amateurs, present proof of regular student status, and, in the case of minors, have the corresponding authorization from a mother, father, or guardian. Furthermore, each performance must respect the times established by the regulations and adhere to content suitable for all audiences.
Those who win in each category will receive a Cultural Scholarship of $720,000, while special mentions will be awarded with scholarships of $360,000, amounts that will be paid in two installments. Subsequently, the winners will participate in a Grand Provincial Final, where they may access scholarships of higher value for the following year.
