With the objective of strengthening the coordination between the destinations that make up the Salto Grande Microregion, a new working meeting was held at the Concordia Convention Center, where authorities and tourism representatives advanced a common agenda aimed at consolidating regional integration and boosting the sector's development.
During the meeting, different lines of action related to tourism promotion, planning, and development were addressed, with the purpose of strengthening the regional offering through coordinated strategies between the municipalities.
One of the focuses of the meeting was the coordination of promotional actions planned for July. In this regard, guidelines were agreed upon for the joint participation of the Salto Grande Microregion in Caminos y Sabores and the Expo Rural, both to be held in the City of Buenos Aires, where the destinations will showcase their tourism offering in a unified manner.
The proposal aims to present a unified tourism offering, highlighting the diversity of natural attractions, gastronomy, culture, thermal springs, and experiences that distinguish each of the destinations that make up the tourism corridor.
Likewise, the participants exchanged proposals to strengthen regional promotion, boost integrated circuits, and coordinate future actions that will allow Salto Grande to be positioned as a competitive and attractive destination throughout the year.
The meeting reaffirmed the commitment of the municipalities to continue working in a coordinated manner, convinced that cooperation between the localities constitutes a fundamental tool to boost tourism development, generate new opportunities for the sector, and strengthen the identity of the entire region.
Representing the host city, the following participated: the Undersecretary of Tourism and Executive President of the Concordia Mixed Tourism Board (EMCONTUR), Belén Schauvinhold; the Coordinator of Microregions of the Entre Ríos Mixed Tourism Board (EMTURER), Martín Di Mario; the Secretary of Tourism of Federación, Ezequiel Marozzini; the Director of Tourism of Villa del Rosario, Janet Bordigión; the Director of Culture and Tourism of La Criolla, Guillermo Ortellado; and the Director of Tourism and Culture of Puerto Yeruá, Agustina Saccomandi.
