The Municipality of Concordia, through the Undersecretariat of Education and Culture, in coordination with the Consulate of Uruguay in Concordia and the Italian Institute of Montevideo, invites the community to enjoy the Intrecciare Tour, a musical project that unites three singer-songwriters from different shores: Antonio Calabrese and Giulia Pagano from Italy, and Nacho Toso from Uruguay.
The meeting will take place on Thursday, November 13th at 8:00 PM at the Gazebo in Plaza 25 de Mayo, and is free and open to the entire community.
Intrecciare, which means “to intertwine” in Italian, is a project that emerged from a chance encounter in Malaga in 2023 and transformed into songs that fuse influences from the Mediterranean and the Río de la Plata. In its acoustic format, the show offers an intimate journey of voice and guitar, full of emotion, poetry, and shared roots, and will allow the audience to live an experience where music becomes a true bridge between cultures.
"From the Undersecretariat, we deeply value this initiative that, through music, promotes the meeting of different cultures and languages. The coordination with the Consulate of Uruguay and the Italian Institute of Montevideo reinforces our commitment to generating quality cultural spaces, accessible to the entire community.", mentioned the Undersecretary, Prof. Carlos Gatto.
The Intrecciare Tour is part of a tour that visits eight cities in Uruguay in 2025, with the support of the Italian Cultural Institute in Uruguay and other institutions, and represents a true cultural exchange between Europe and America.
The Municipality of Concordia invites residents of all ages to be part of this unique show, which celebrates diversity and encounter through music.
