From Friday, March 20 to Tuesday, March 24, the city of Concordia invites both residents and tourists to join a varied agenda of activities designed to share and discover. Culture, history, and outdoor proposals are combined in a program that highlights local identity and welcomes those who choose the city to enjoy the long weekend.
We will have multiple experiences to share Concordia with family and friends:
Among the outstanding spaces is the Castillo San Carlos, open from Saturday to Tuesday from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. There, the public will be able to tour its facilities, appreciate its natural surroundings, and learn about its close relationship with The Little Prince, a work by the writer Antoine de Saint-Exupéry.
Another alternative to delve into local history is the Naranjal de Pereda Historical Site, which from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. proposes a tour of the region's origins, among Jesuit vestiges and stories that reconstruct the past.
On Friday at 9 p.m., the Brewery Bus invites you to live a different experience, visiting spaces such as La Fábrica and Popelka, where you can learn about production processes and taste artisanal products. For its part, on Saturday and Tuesday at 10 a.m., the Historical Architectural Pedestrian Circuit will provide the opportunity to rediscover the urban heritage through its most representative buildings.
On Saturday the 21st, from 6 p.m., the pedestrian street will be the setting for “Concordia in your Senses”, a proposal that integrates music, flavors, and participatory activities for the whole family. Later, at 8 p.m., the Museum of Anthropology and Natural Sciences will offer “The Night of the Lanterns”, a special visit that invites you to explore the space from a different perspective.
During Sunday and Monday at 4:30 p.m., the “Magic Land of The Little Prince” Bus will tour the city center, the Costanera, and the Castillo, accompanied by guides who will share information about the destination.
On Sunday the 22nd, the Castillo will add activities designed for the whole family: at 4 p.m. there will be a guided tour with puppets aimed at children. In parallel, the day will include the International Milonga along with an open class for those who wish to start in tango, in a relaxed and participatory atmosphere.
Finally, on Monday the 23rd at 5 p.m., a literary visit will take place at the Castillo San Carlos, which will allow for a deeper look into its history and the link with the work of Saint-Exupéry.
This agenda is promoted by the Undersecretariat of Tourism of Concordia, in coordination with the Mixed Entity of Tourism of Concordia, strengthening local tourism development and consolidating the city as an attractive destination for residents and visitors.
