During this morning, with the presence of Mayor Francisco Azcué, the launch ceremony and the signing of the agreement for the Program “Entre Ríos from within: training in citizen service” took place.
This is an initiative promoted by the Secretariat of Participation and Citizen Service, under the General Secretariat of the Government, with the support of the Uader Foundation and the Federal Investment Council (CFI), in coordination with the Directorate of Citizen Service and Consumer Defense, which belongs to the Special Unit for Strategic Projects of the Municipality of Concordia.
The general objective of the program is to strengthen the technical, communicational, and attitudinal competencies of provincial and municipal citizen service agents, while the specific objectives are to develop clear, empathetic, and results-oriented communication; standardize service standards throughout the public administration; provide emotional management tools for high-demand situations; implement quality criteria in service and optimize processes; and reinforce the identity of the public servant as an agent of institutional change.
This Thursday, the training was aimed at the work teams of the Civil Registry, ATER, and also personnel from related areas of the municipality.
FIRST MUNICIPALITY
During the presentation, Mayor Azcué highlighted that Concordia is the first city where the program is being implemented, stating that “this speaks to the commitment and the importance that our provincial government gives it. Today we have a governor who makes Concordia a priority, who carries out the necessary efforts where they need to be made, and thanks to that, we were the first city - and the only one in the country - where Family Centers were opened, here is the Citizen Service program, and this weekend we will have the first provincial Book Fair, which is also being held in Concordia”.
“We have enough reasons to work together because this makes us stronger, we manage better, and specifically in what is Citizen Service and Consumer Defense, which is something we are putting a lot of energy, attention, and resources into,” maintained Azcué.
REVALUING PUBLIC SERVICE
For her part, the Secretary of Citizen Service and Participation, Valentina Götte, recalled that “it is a project we have been working on for a long time, together with the General Secretary of the Government, Mauricio Colello, seeking to enhance the participation of agents and revalue public service”.
The official expressed that what is sought “is to carry out this work that we do every day in the best way, better prepared, and thus be able to provide a better experience to the citizen in public offices”.
“When we started with this project, I came to Concordia for another reason and I found a spectacular municipal Citizen Service area, and today I can say that we have relied a lot on you to be able to design this program,” concluded Götte.
TRANSFORM AND INNOVATE
National Deputy Nancy Ballejos pointed out that the current municipal administration “always carries out these proximity policies, and from the first moment, that was what led us to travel this path of transformation in Entre Ríos, led by our governor. This initiative seems extraordinary to me to revalue the role of the state agent, who many times or for many years was mistreated in their work”.
The Secretary of Government, Luciano Dell´Olio, underscored the importance of the agreement and the training, given that “public administration is in permanent change, so it is fundamental to go through these dynamic processes of transformation”. In Concordia, “we are always attentive to improving service to the resident and having an efficient management”.
Finally, the Director of Public Training and Transformation of Entre Ríos, Santiago Villarraza, thanked the municipality of Concordia for “daring to be protagonists of this transformation, which for us is “Entre Ríos from within”, adding that “the idea is to be able to transform the citizen service experience, providing tools since you are the ones who receive our citizens every day”.
