Cresto presented a proposal to the unions that considers what was requested and responds to the current reality of municipal finances: a 22% increase with respect to current salaries, becoming effective in two stages (12% in March and 10% in July).
The proposal also includes an increase in family allowances starting in March, in accordance with the values in force in the Province. Likewise, it is provided to raise the minimum for contracts with contributions to $7000 starting in March and to $8000 from July.
The mayor Enrique Cresto received the union representatives of the municipal workers this noon, with whom he analyzed the request for salary readjustment and the work guidelines for the current year.
Cresto indicated that this offer is possible due to the fiscal balance achieved in 2016, the responsibility and austerity in the management of resources, and the regulations for ordering, controlling, and optimizing spending implemented by the current municipal administration.
The Intermunicipal Consortium unifies the increase proposals
The mayors who make up the Intermunicipal Consortium Concordia agreed to address this topic of common interest for all municipalities together, in the same way they did at the end of last year with the bonus they gave to the agents dependent on each of their administrations.
In this sense, the municipal leaders agreed to offer similar agreements to their workers, in line with the resources each one has. The municipalities of the Concordia Department are thus constituted, up to this moment, as those that offer the highest percentage of increase with respect to the other municipalities in Entre Ríos.
