A new company from Concordia has joined the Municipal Registry of Knowledge Economy Companies (REC), a regime that grants significant tax relief and strategic benefits to ventures and companies in the sector that decide to establish themselves or expand locally.
On this occasion, Devoo S.A.S. became the fifth company to access various benefits, such as a 100% exemption from the Commercial municipal tax and the General Real Estate municipal tax for five years, renewable for an equal period, in addition to other incentives aimed at promoting the growth of innovative companies.
Mayor Francisco Azcué highlighted the growth that the REC is experiencing as new companies join, which allows them to “grow, invest, develop, generate employment, and expand, going beyond the limits of Concordia. It fills us with satisfaction because it is a company from Concordia, founded by people from Concordia,” he remarked.
As a State, “we must be facilitators, accompanying the private sector, and in this case, the enormous potential we have in the city where the knowledge economy sector is growing is made visible. We are on the right track, with young people training and developing, entrepreneurs betting on the city, and today, we are taking one more step,” affirmed Azcué.
For his part, Iván Arriola, founding partner of Devoo S.A.S., highlighted that, on one hand, “for us, it is a great support to understand that the city is looking in the direction where we work, so it gives you the confidence of knowing that you bet or invest with more peace of mind. It is an economic relief, but it is also seeing where Concordia is going, which is doing a good job in terms of the knowledge economy, and we are contributing our grain of sand.”
