During the day, in which mayors and officials from the cities of Colón, Federal, Gilbert, Villa Elisa, Ubajay, and General Campos participated, work was carried out based on the different administrative processes being conducted by the administration of Mayor Francisco Azcué.
This Wednesday, a day of exchange and training on management systems was held at the Municipality of Concordia, where officials and members of different areas worked with mayors and representatives of municipalities in the region.
The meeting, which was led by Mayor Francisco Azcué, was attended by the Municipalities of Gilbert, General Campos, Ubajay, Villa Elisa, Federal, and Colón.
Tools regarding the updating of management systems, digitized administrative processes, and best practices, among other technical areas, were shared. Examples of software developments for management improvement were also presented, such as the digital administrative case file for purchases; economic-financial system; citizen service; digital fines; gender violence, and panic button.
INFORMATION AND EXPERIENCE
In this regard, the Mayor of Gilbert, Mariano Lacoste, thanked for the opportunity and highlighted that “it is not common to be invited to share knowledge and to enhance the little or much that we may have in our municipality. Our town is small and therefore we lack everything related to systems; we are still using paper, so this type of meeting helps us to nourish ourselves and be able to empower ourselves.”
For Federal, the Undersecretary of Treasury, Roberto Pessoa, pointed out that “this is the beginning of an experience that Concordia has already gone through and that in our case we must start from scratch,” adding that “we do not have anything digitized yet, so this meeting is very important because we know the benefits of optimizing municipal administrative development through digitization.”
In the same vein, the person in charge of Purchases for that municipality, Leandro Bonomi, expressed: “With this type of action, we aim to try to be as transparent as possible, so that the resident knows where their resources and contributions go, and so that we have greater fluidity, so that everything is not so bureaucratic,” he stressed.
Finally, the Secretary of Government of the Municipality of Colón, Mariano Bravo, valued as “very interesting and very clear the presentation by Mayor Azcué, where he explained the reason for all these changes that he has generated from the municipal administration of Concordia itself, seeking mainly transparency and the optimization of resources. Many of the things that are already implemented here we also have in Colón, but we are taking away other new and very good ideas to implement, because we are all on the same wavelength.”
JOINT WORK
The Director of Revenue of the Municipality of Concordia, Fernando Marsicano, said that the meeting allowed everyone “to nourish themselves together, more than ever, I believe that we have to be working together.” In that context, he stated that “today many things in the municipality go through systems, through collection, through purchases, not only to improve the experience of the taxpayer and the resident, but also to make day-to-day decisions.”
To this, the Director of Information Technology, Gustavo Berón, maintained that one of the premises of the administration is to strengthen all systems that contribute to transparency. “This takes work and dedication, but we have very good teams that belong to different areas and are very involved. Evolution is always continuous, therefore we must adapt to new needs and tell the different municipalities everything that we are experiencing so that together we can achieve improvements for the citizen,”
The Secretary of Cabinet Coordination and Treasury, Pablo Ferreyra, was present along with officials from various areas involved in the aforementioned processes.
