The long weekend for the Carnival holidays is coming, and Concordia is preparing to experience five days of rhythm, joy, and passion.
From Friday, February 9th, until Tuesday the 13th, Concordia will experience a weekend with all the expressions of the ultimate summer festival. These will be the final parades of the Pequeños Duendes with two nights on the main stage of the Concordia Carnival, at the Corsódromo. In addition, there will be two nights of the main Carnival full of passion, and there will be a 'Tablado' and a parade of 'mascaritas' through the city center with the Carnival of Joy, in a joint effort by the Municipality through the Carnival Entity together with the 'comparsas', artists, and carnival groups.
On Friday the 9th, with free admission at the "Atanasio Bonfiglio" Corsódromo, the Pequeños Duendes will hold their penultimate parade, in a celebration for the whole family to enjoy, starting at 8:30 PM.
On Saturday the 10th, starting at 11:00 PM, the fourth night of the most passionate Carnival in the country will begin. Imperio, Ráfaga, Emperatriz, and Bella Samba will enter the track in that order to continue adding points for the 2018 crown competition.
On Sunday the 11th, starting at 8:00 PM, and also at the Corsódromo, the Popular Children's Carnival of Concordia will say goodbye with pure rhythm, joy, magic, and fantasy. As always, admission is free, and "Atanasio Bonfiglio" will be a pure celebration.
On Monday the 12th, the first day of this year's Carnival holidays, the Popular Tablado will be held at Plaza Urquiza, with performances by 'murgas', musicians, theater actors, and local artists, in an activity organized by the MOMO Group with the support of the Municipality of Concordia.
That same day, and given that Tuesday is also a holiday, the fifth parade of the ultimate summer festival will be held at the Corsódromo. Imperio, Bella Samba, Ráfaga, and Emperatriz will be the order of the lineup for Monday.
Finally, to close a unique carnival weekend as only Concordia offers you to experience, on Tuesday the 13th, the popular parade of 'mascaritas', costumes, 'murgas', and 'corsos' will take place from Plaza Urquiza to Plaza 25 de Mayo, free of charge.
