The goal is to reach 4,000 children and adolescents between 6 and 17 years old. “It is a great project because it places the family at the center of the scene as the primary nucleus of development,” remarked Mayor Azcué.
Throughout this week, the Municipality of Concordia, together with the National Ministry of Human Capital, is carrying out a new registration stage for the “Family Centers” Program, aimed at children and adolescents between 6 and 17 years old so they can access cultural, educational, sports, and artistic activities in some of the 101 participating institutions.
During this Tuesday, Mayor Francisco Azcué was in the La Bianca neighborhood and at the Víctor Oppel Sports Center, two of the locations where the call is being held, an opportunity in which he highlighted: “This is an excellent program that the Ministry of Human Capital has designed. It is a great project because it places the family as the primary nucleus of development at the center of the scene.”
“Today there are already 101 participating institutions, distributed throughout the city, which allows more children and adolescents to access sports, cultural, artistic, and educational activities, while strengthening the work of intermediate institutions,” stated the Mayor.
Azcué remarked that “the response from the residents is excellent and this not only gives opportunities to the children, but also generates work and strengthens clubs and institutions throughout the city; therefore, we invite families to approach the places where registrations are taking place and be part of this program.”
For his part, the Director of Territorial Planning of the National Ministry of Human Capital, Federico Palacín, maintained that “the balance for 2025 was very good, which is why we continue to commit and renew both the number of beneficiaries and participating centers. Concordia was the first municipality where we began this pilot test and in this stage we are carrying out the registration process for 4,000 beneficiaries, with a duration of six months, renewable for another six,” he affirmed.
