This Wednesday, November 14, starting at 10 a.m., online ticket sales will be enabled for the parades of the 2019 edition of the Concordia Carnival. By accessing the official Carnival website at www.concordiacarnaval.com.ar you will be able to purchase tickets and VIP tables for any of the six nights of the biggest summer festival, with the option to pay in cash or by credit or debit card.
The first parade night will be January 19, and the general admission ticket costs $150. During the first three parade nights, January 19 and 26, and February 2, the ticket price will remain the same. And for the last three scheduled parade nights, February 9, 16, and 23, the general admission ticket price will be $200. Meanwhile, tickets for children up to 11 years old will remain at $100 for any of the nights, and children under 1 year old pay a $50 insurance fee.
"The price of the tickets did not increase, even though there has been significant inflation in the last year. The decision of Mayor Enrique Cresto and the Carnival Entity is to provide an accessible price so that all those passionate about the Carnival can enjoy it," noted Sebastián Cuberli, president of the Carnival Entity. "This means redoubling efforts in terms of organization and securing support from sponsors, so that the festival continues to grow as it has year after year, so that each comparsa can provide the show it offers and shine on the Corsódromo track," he highlighted.
Through the online sales system, tickets and tables in the VIP sector can be purchased in advance for any of the parade nights, from any city in the country, paying with a debit or credit card and in installments through the digital platform. This system, implemented in the last two editions, has provided greater convenience to the public.
At the same time, the option of cash payment is offered by printing the respective coupon and going to the payment counters of the Municipal Revenue Directorate or Caja Mixta. In any case, those who buy their tickets now will receive a voucher that will be exchanged for the respective access wristbands in January. For more information, you can consult the official website www.concordiacarnaval.com.ar where the online purchase platform will be enabled, through the official social media channels, or in person at the Carnival Entity offices, former North Station, San Lorenzo and Gob. Cresto, from Monday to Friday from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m.
