This Friday, the trips for fruit workers from the city of Concordia to the provinces of Río Negro and Neuquén began, within the framework of the transfer operation organized jointly between the Municipality of Concordia and the Government of the Province of Entre Ríos.
The first bus departed from the Concordia Bus Terminal, marking the beginning of a series of scheduled departures that will continue on January 11, 12, and 14, intended for previously registered workers with full capacity.
In this regard, the Director of Employment of the Municipality of Concordia, Juan Manuel Scarzello, highlighted the joint work between the different levels of the State: “This operation is the result of joint planning with the Provincial Government, which allows us to support the fruit workers of Concordia, guaranteeing an orderly, safe, and timely transfer to their workplaces.”
Likewise, Scarzello remarked on the importance of the start of the operation: “Today we completed the departure of the first bus, which represents not only a response to a concrete demand from the workers, but also a public policy that seeks to facilitate access to employment and strengthen the labor link with other provinces.”
It should be remembered that the registration was carried out at the Employment Directorate, located on the first floor of the Civic Center (Pellegrini and Mitre), and was intended for workers who presented the required documentation, including their DNI, salary receipt, and proof or telegram of summons from the employing company.
The Municipality of Concordia continues to work on actions that promote employment and support local workers at each stage of their professional development.
