With the objective of providing concrete tools to improve management and boost the growth of ventures and small and medium-sized enterprises in the city, Concordia.Negocios began this Thursday, a new program promoted by the Municipality of Concordia, within the framework of the Infrastructure and Development Plan towards the Bicentennial.
The proposal consists of a fee-based training, aimed at entrepreneurs and SMEs in Concordia that already have a business in operation. The modality is 100% in-person, with practical workshops and applied work on each venture, with the objective of providing tools that allow for improving management, organizing processes, strengthening sales, and making better decisions.
Concordia.Negocios is developed through joint work between the Municipality of Concordia, the Universidad Tecnológica Nacional (UTN), the Universidad Nacional de Entre Ríos (UNER), the Instituto Nacional de Tecnología Industrial (INTI), the Professional Council of Economic Sciences of Entre Ríos, and the Center for Commerce, Industry and Services of Concordia.
During the opening, the mayor Francisco Azcué highlighted the importance of supporting those who generate economic activity and employment in the city, remarking that the Municipality “seeks to generate conditions and tools so that local ventures can grow”.
“We want to support those who bet, invest, and generate opportunities in Concordia every day. Training and the incorporation of management tools are fundamental so that our entrepreneurs can make better decisions and grow their businesses”.
In that sense, Azcué especially valued the articulation between the State, universities, technical institutions, and the private sector, and maintained that “when we work together we can provide much more concrete responses to the needs of those who undertake and produce in our city”.
ENTREPRENEURS WITH TOOLS
For his part, the Secretary of Productive Development Sebastián Arístide, highlighted that Concordia.Negocios represents a new instance of support for those who already have a venture underway: “From the Municipality we want to be close to our entrepreneurs, but not only with a perspective of support, but also by providing them with concrete tools that they can apply in their businesses. Often those who undertake have a very good product or service, but they need to organize processes, improve management, or strengthen their sales strategies”.
“The proposal is that what is learned in each meeting can be taken directly to the field. We seek that each participant can identify problems, validate their ideas, organize their venture, and make decisions with more information”, maintained Arístide.
FIRST MODULE: DIAGNOSIS AND VALIDATION
The first module of Concordia.Negocios is called “Does your business solve a real problem? Diagnosis + Validation” and proposes working on one of the fundamental aspects of any venture: understanding clearly what problem it solves, for whom, and what is the value it offers.
The training is led by Pedro Kohn, Director of Innovation and Knowledge Economy of the Municipality of Concordia, and Ricardo Rodríguez, bioengineer, who work together with the participants on tools and methodologies that can be applied directly to their own businesses.
NEXT MEETING
The first module will continue on Thursday, September 10, again at the UTN Headquarters, where participants will advance with the work of diagnosis and validation of their proposals.
In this way, Concordia.Negocios launches a space for training and support designed for those who already have a business in operation and are looking to organize it, professionalize it, and generate new growth opportunities.
