This Monday, at the offices of the Carnival Entity, the selection of potential jurors for the 2020 edition of the Concordia Carnival was carried out through a joint and consensual effort between the presidents of the four local festival troupes.
At the meeting, Matías Pisera, who will form the Jury Coordination for the 2020 edition of the Concordia Carnival together with Juliana Troiano, explained that they had been working on the pre-selection of suitable and qualified jurors for each category, and this Monday he presented various resumes of prominent artists and professionals to qualify as jurors for our carnival.
The jury selection system and the working methodology aim to continue the transparent process that was also implemented in previous years, where the suitability and knowledge of the jurors are prioritized, which will result in the continued growth of the show experienced on the “Atanasio Bonfiglio” runway.
The prospective jurors were presented to each Troupe President, who had access to the resume, background, and training of each one, but without identification so that they could be evaluated based on their suitability.
The four top authorities of the troupes had to select the resumes, and thus a consensual list was formed of those who would be, in their view, the most competent jurors to rate the competition categories on each of the parade nights.
To conclude, the Jury Coordinator indicated that 6 jurors will be selected per night for the competition categories and that they will not be from the city of Concordia nor from the province of Entre Ríos.
