ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING THE MONTH OF MARCH AS THE RECOGNITION
FOR OUTSTANDING CONCORDIA WOMEN.-
THE DELIBERATIVE COUNCIL OF Concordia
ENACTS THE FOLLOWING
ORDINANCE
ARTICLE 1°.- Establish in the month of March of each year the recognition for Concordia women who have distinguished themselves for their work for the benefit of the community.
ARTICLE 2°.- The Presidency of the Deliberative Council and each Council member may select one (1) woman to be recognized, presenting the following information: a) Personal data of the nominee. b) Brief curriculum vitae. c) Description of her work and outstanding actions in the community.
ARTICLE 3.- The selected women will be recognized with a diploma and a gift.
ARTICLE 4°.- Local institutions, neighborhoods, and community organizations will be invited to propose candidates for this recognition, which must be submitted to different council members for their selection.
ARTICLE 5°.- The expenses required for the fulfillment of this Ordinance will be charged to the corresponding budget item of the Deliberative Council.
ARTICLE 6.- Communicate, publish, register and archive.
