ORDINANCE ON WEBSITE ACCESSIBILITY FOR PERSONS WITH DISABILITIES.
 
THE HONORABLE DELIBERATIVE COUNCIL OF Concordia
ENACTS THE FOLLOWING
ORDINANCE
 
ARTICLE 1°.- It is established that the Executive Department, the Deliberative Council, and the various municipal offices, and any entity belonging to the Municipality of Concordia, must respect in their website designs the standards and requirements regarding information accessibility that facilitate access to their content for all persons with disabilities, in order to guarantee them real equality of opportunity and treatment, thus avoiding any type of discrimination.
 
ARTICLE 2.- For the purposes of this regulation, accessibility is understood as the possibility for the information on the website to be understood and consulted by persons with disabilities and by users who have different configurations in their equipment or software.
 
ARTICLE 3°.- The enforcement authority of this regulation shall be designated by the Municipal Executive Department.
 
ARTICLE 4.- For accessibility standards and requirements, the online services of the page: examinator.ws will be taken into account, which automatically evaluates the accessibility of a web page, using as a reference some techniques recommended by the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.0 (WCAG 2.0). The website of the Municipality of Godoy Cruz (Prov. of Mendoza) can be taken as an example https://www.godoycruz.gob.ar/.

COMMEMORATE WORLD AMYOTROPHIC LATERAL SCLEROSIS (A.L.S.) AWARENESS DAY.----

ARTICLE 1°.- It is ordered that the exterior of the Public Buildings of the city of Concordia, which the Municipal Executive Department considers appropriate, be illuminated in green on June 28 of the current year, in commemoration of “World Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis Awareness Day”, with the need to make said disease visible, raise awareness, and disseminate information about it.

SEEN:
That the Coordinating Team submitted to this Body the request for the Declaration of Municipal Interest of the "XXI Edition of the CONCORDIA CAREER FAIR”, and;
 
CONSIDERING:
That, as every year, for 21 editions now, this 2024 a new edition of the "Concordia Career Fair" will take place.
That this is an event that brings together thousands of young people from the city and different parts of Entre Ríos, in which students have the opportunity to learn about the wide academic offer that the city has in its different institutions.
That during the two days the event will take place, the traditional fair tour through the institutions' stands is planned, as well as in-person talks. A few years ago, the coordinating team innovated a virtual modality, from the website, in which students from all over the country can access it.
That this year its physical headquarters is the Faculty of Administration Sciences of the National University of Entre Ríos (UNER), located at 1424 Monseñor Tavella Street.
That all these activities will be carried out during the days of June 26 and 27 of this 2024.
That this Body supports every year this important academic instance for the city, for the region, and the province.
 
Therefore:

ENACTS THE FOLLOWING
RESOLUTION
 
ARTICLE 1.- Declare of Municipal, Cultural, and Educational Interest the XXI CONCORDIA CAREER FAIR 2024 Edition, to be held on June 26 and 27, 2024, at the Faculty of Administration Sciences of the National University of Entre Ríos, located at 1424 Mñor. Tavella Street.-
 
ARTICLE 2-. Deliver to the Coordinating Team of the Concordia Career Fair a diploma distinctive of the event and this duly signed resolution.-
 
ARTICLE 3-. Communicate, publish, register  and archive.-

SEEN:
That the Board of Directors of the Club del Tango Concordia requests that the performance of the Orchestra “Tango Bardo”, which will take place on July 6, 2024, be declared of Municipal Interest; and,
 
CONSIDERING:
That it is an internationally recognized orchestra, and that this is the first time it will perform in the city of Concordia.
That we will have visitors from the region, from Salto and Paysandú.              
That the Club del Tango Concordia was founded in 1990; it has its own headquarters at 333 Saavedra Street where the event will take place.
That in September 2009, UNESCO declared the Rioplatense Tango as Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity.
That it is a band of musicians originally from Buenos Aires, Argentina, recognized for their tango interpretations. They have taken their music to diverse stages around the world, including theaters, milongas, and festivals in countries such as France, Spain, Japan, China, Singapore, Thailand, Brazil, Chile, and Uruguay. Recently, the band has returned from a successful tour of Europe.
That it has the following members:

• Lucas Furno: Violin
• Juan Miguens: Double Bass
• Santiago Polimeni: Bandoneon
• Lorena Donvito: Piano
• Roberto Minondi: Singer.

That the event has the following schedule:

• 21:00 hs. Reception of the public
• 21:45 hs. Tango show (dance) by Maximiliano Ruiz Díaz and Fabiola Engel
• 22:15 hs. Tango classes/shared dances with DJ and/or animation and participation of local acts
• 23:30 hs. Performance of the orchestra TANGO BARDO.

 
Therefore:

ENACTS THE FOLLOWING
ORDINANCE
 
ARTICLE 1.- Declare the performance of the Orchestra “Tango Bardo” in the city of Concordia, to be held on July 6 of the current year at the Club del Tango Concordia, located at 333 Saavedra Street, to be of MUNICIPAL INTEREST.
 
ARTICLE 2.- Deliver a diploma with the declaration of interest to the Club del Tango Concordia.
 
ARTICLE 3.- Communicate, publish, register and archive.
