The mayor of Concordia, Francisco Azcué, appointed accountant Patricia Rodríguez as the new Secretary of Government of the Municipality, who will occupy one of the strategic areas of the administration.
Rodríguez is a public accountant who graduated from the National University of Córdoba and has more than three decades of experience in administration, planning, budgeting, human resources, auditing, and team leadership. Throughout her career, she has worked in public agencies, advising companies, institutions, and cooperatives.
She has an extensive political career of more than 30 years. Among her background, her performance as Manager of the ANSES Concordia offices stands out, a responsibility she exercised by leading one of the public agencies with the highest volume of service and administrative complexity in the region. She was also part of technical teams of the Municipality of Concordia at different stages, participating in the development of the city's Strategic Plan, microcredit programs, food assistance, and the development of institutional projects.
Her professional trajectory also includes accounting and organizational advisory work for industrial, commercial, and cooperative companies and entities of the regional economy, specializing in administrative modernization processes, financial planning, and institutional organization.
At the institutional level, Rodríguez was president of the Concordia Delegation of the Professional Council of Economic Sciences of Entre Ríos, was a member of the Provincial Commission of the entity, and served as vice president of the Council's Social Security System, in addition to maintaining active participation in organizations linked to local development.
In justifying the decision, Azcué noted: “We were looking for the person who gathered the most political experience, management skills, technical capacity, knowledge of the State, and aptitude to coordinate one of the most important areas of the municipality. Patricia Rodríguez meets all those conditions, and that is why we entrust her with this responsibility.”
The mayor added that “our priority is to form the best possible teams to continue transforming Concordia. Government decisions are made thinking about people's ability to manage, solve problems, and work for the residents. Patricia brings a solid political and professional background, experience in team leadership, and deep knowledge of public administration.”
For her part, Rodríguez expressed her gratitude for the trust placed in her and assured that she will take on the challenge “with responsibility, commitment, and a vocation for service, working together with the municipal team to strengthen the administration and support the objectives that the Mayor has defined for this stage.”
