The 2019 edition of the Concordia Carnival is fast approaching. The comparsas are working at a good pace, rehearsing and preparing costumes and floats; some have already presented their figures, and others will be doing so in the coming weeks. For its part, the Carnival Entity has organized the final stage of the registration process.
This year, a new online system was implemented for registrations, which allows each carnival group to directly upload their members in a form that is complemented by a physical health clearance and a photo of each person. The system was developed by the Municipality's IT department and has allowed for streamlining as well as ensuring the correct registration of each participant.
In this regard, to conclude this process, the comparsas, together with the Carnival Entity, established the days on which photos of each registrant will be taken, according to the following schedule:
Bella Samba: Wednesday, December 19 at 9:00 PM at the Alumni club located at 1072 P. del Castillo
Ráfaga: Thursday, December 20 at 9:00 PM at La Bianca Square
Emperatriz: Wednesday, December 26 at 9:00 PM at Cirse, Entre Ríos and Tucumán
Imperio: Wednesday, January 02 at 9:00 PM at Avda. Gob. Cresto and Lieberman
On the other hand, ticket sales continue at a good pace through the online system at www.concordiacarnaval.com.ar which allows purchasing tickets and tables for any of the six nights, and paying for them in cash or by credit card in installments. Those who have already purchased tickets will be able to pick them up starting Wednesday, January 2, the date on which the exchange process begins at the Caja Mixta offices.
