In the Agua Patito neighborhood of our city, the Government of Entre Ríos, through the Autarkic Institute of Planning and Housing (IAPV) and the Municipality of Concordia, via the Secretariat of Public Works, is building 15 homes that will be allocated to families living in areas vulnerable to the rising levels of the Uruguay River.
This housing group is in addition to the homes that were already delivered during 2025, also to families who were in the same situation.
This Thursday, the mayor Francisco Azcué, together with the Secretary of Public Works Fernando Esquibel, supervised the progress of the works, which are well advanced and will be completed in a short time.
“These homes are in addition to those that were delivered last year and we are already managing the construction of 16 new units so that the total number reaches 40, which will be 40 families whose living conditions will be changed,” remarked Azcué.
In that sense, the mayor maintained that “this is done following a housing model and a work scheme that allows for rapid progress in construction. They are very high-quality houses that the residents will receive with all services.”
For his part, Esquibel reported that the works have a 70% progress rate “so we hope, if the weather permits, to have them finished before the end of the year, with the families already using them. They are homes of high technical standard, where their occupants will be very satisfied.”
