The Municipality of Concordia, through the Emergency Operations Committee (COE), reports on the water level of the Uruguay River in front of the port of Concordia, according to the latest report issued by the Hydrology area of the Mixed Technical Commission of Salto Grande.
Until 3:00 PM tomorrow, Sunday, October 11, the maximum water level relative to the port of Concordia will not exceed 11.90 meters. The reservoir level will tend towards 32.30 meters.
Evacuations: as of this Saturday, 7 families have been evacuated; 4 were moved to the former Bagley evacuation center, 12 adults and 10 minors. The remaining 3 families were moved to the homes of relatives.
The community is requested to stay informed through the official channels of the Municipality of Concordia and CTM.
RECOMMENDATIONS
To mitigate the effects of the intense rainfall and the rising of the Uruguay River, it is important that we assume the commitment to take care of our space:
Do not throw waste into drains, reservoirs, streams, sewers, or gutters.
Do not take out household waste outside of scheduled hours.
Avoid doing so on days with rain forecasts.
Keep household grates, gutters, and drains clean.
Do not travel through the sectors affected by the rising water.
Respect the signage and instructions of the personnel working in the area.
Together, we build a more prepared city.
