The Municipality of Concordia, through the Secretariat of Public Services, continues to carry out maintenance, cleaning, and enhancement work in various public spaces of the city. In addition to the neighborhood operations carried out weekly in different sectors, specific tasks were executed in the main squares of Concordia over the last few days.
At the beginning of the week, tasks were concentrated in Plaza Urquiza, where benches, the fountain, and the flagpole, among other items, were refurbished and painted using the municipality's own personnel and resources.
However, a few hours after the work was completed, several of these areas were found vandalized, which forced a new intervention by municipal personnel to repair the damage. Unfortunately, similar acts were recorded again on Wednesday, requiring the allocation of resources and time once more to restore the site to proper condition.
From the municipality, it is emphasized that these types of situations not only affect the common heritage of all residents of Concordia, but also imply the allocation of time, materials, and effort that could be used to improve other public spaces in the city.
In this regard, the Municipality of Concordia requests the collaboration of the entire community to take care of public spaces, which are for shared use, and to report any act of vandalism observed. The commitment of the residents is fundamental to preserve squares, parks, and promenades in good condition, ensuring they can be enjoyed by all families in the city.
