This morning, the commemorative ceremony for the 204th anniversary of the Argentine Federal Police (PFA) was held, which was born with the mission of guaranteeing public safety, preserving constitutional order, and protecting the rights and freedoms of citizens.
The ceremony was led by the Head of the Federal Operational Unit Division Concordia, Sub-commissioner Marcos Gastón Hernández, together with Mayor Francisco Azcué and the Head of the Anti-Drug Division Concordia, Commissioner Jorge Luis Rodrigo Daloia.
“The Argentine Federal Police, since its creation, has been aware of what society needs day by day, bringing security, protection of rights and freedoms, as we have been doing in Concordia together with the Federal Court and the Municipality of Concordia,” stated Daloia.
Mayor Francisco Azcué, for his part and in addition to reiterating the commitment to continue with the joint institutional work, highlighted “the work of the authorities of such a prestigious institution as well as all the personnel for their vocation of service, dedication, and for everything they do for the community.”
During the ceremony, distinctions were awarded to outstanding personnel of the force for their commitment, performance, and spirit of service.
Accompanying were the Secretary of Government Luciano Dell´Olio; members of the Argentine National Gendarmerie, Volunteer Firefighters, Argentine Naval Prefecture, Police of Entre Ríos, Penal Unit No. 3; and family members.
