The Municipality of Concordia, through the Secretariat of Health, the Undersecretariat of Development and Entrepreneurship, and the Department of Senior Citizen Policies, informs that next Tuesday, December 9, from 09:00 to 12:00, the last vaccination day of the year will be held, exclusively for people over 60 years of age.
The activity will take place at the Civic Center of Concordia, in the Labor Training Room (1st floor – Mitre and Pellegrini), and will include the free administration of the following vaccines: Tetanus; Pneumococcal; Hepatitis B.
The organizing departments emphasized that this day is essential to complete vaccination schedules and reinforce prevention in older adults, especially at this time of year when risks associated with respiratory diseases and other pathologies increase.
The Head of the Department of Senior Citizen Policies, Gladys Portugal, highlighted the importance of this initiative: “We are working hard to support and care for our older adults. Vaccination is a key tool to prevent diseases and improve quality of life. We invite all people over 60 to come, take advantage of this free service, and keep their vaccination schedule up to date.”
Furthermore, she highlighted the commitment of the municipal team and the positive reception of these sessions throughout the year: “We have had great participation in each call, which demonstrates the awareness and responsibility of our community. We will continue to promote actions that foster the well-being and health of those who need it most.”
To access the vaccination, participants must present their DNI and, if they have one, their vaccination record.
