MONTEBRUJO is a sound project that fuses electronic music with ancestral sounds, creating a dialogue between contemporaneity and native tradition. Synthesizers, loops, and samples are combined with traditional instruments such as quenas, quenachos, sikus, tarkas, and ronroco; this is intertwined with live visual performances, achieving hypnotic and ritualistic landscapes.

In its sonic nature, influences of electronic music, ambient, Andean music, and the sounds of the Argentine littoral can be found. This lineage intertwines to create an experience that invites one to imaginarily travel through different territories and ecosystems, the jungle, the forest, the wetlands, the mountains, and the river, understood as living entities that nourish and inspire the creation of the project's pulses.

Montebrujo explores the dialogue between the organic and the electronic, rescuing ancestral timbres within contemporary arrangements that invite both dance and contemplation.

Musicians: Juanjo Pignataro / Rafael Capurro / Guest artist: María Jesús Alvarez, visuals, overhead projection.
