Premiered in July 1997, Aquel…mi pueblo has remained on stage in different cultural spaces for over 20 years, being a benchmark of the cultural and theatrical heritage of the people of Entre Ríos.
Currently performed by the TAKUARAL Group, composed of the actors: Silvia Gibert, Darío Ocaranza, and Luciana Burns; technical staff.

AQUEL…MI PUEBLO tells the story of the relocation and uprooting of
Federación as a consequence of the formation of the Uruguay River reservoir, produced by the Salto Grande Dam. With a high emotional content where everyday humor depicts the simplicity and idiosyncrasy of the people of Entre Ríos.

This play has had more than three thousand performances and was the winner of the 2004 National Theater Festival.
It was declared of cultural and educational interest by the H.C.D. of
Federación.
Declared of cultural interest by the Undersecretariat of Culture of the
Province of Entre Ríos. 2007.
