On Sunday, March 30th at 8:30 PM at “Pueblo Viejo (Alem 230), “Mar del Sur” will be presented, a co-production from Paraná by “Compañía Teatral” and “Compañía Le Feu”, with text and direction by Cristian Palacios and performances by Melina Forte, Ezequiel Caridad, and Gustavo Bendersky.

“Mar del Sur”
The summer of 1989 was stiflingly hot throughout the country. The power went out at times, in scheduled shifts. The streets were dark. People collected water in buckets. And Luna saw the beach for the first time. That summer she also met Fede and Toro, two boys her age with whom she would embark on the adventure of growing up in a country like Argentina… Amidst looting, hyperinflation, and unemployment, with the wounds of a past that refused to fully heal.
A story of secrets left unsaid, of bodies marked by history, of struggles, uprisings, and demands that intersect with the fears and desires of our childhood, our first disappointments, our first terrors, our silences, hatreds, and loves. Of those things we decide to do with that great mystery that we are.
