11th Edition: Salto Grande Crossing 2024

Cruce de Salto Grande is a foot race organized by Los Galgos Eventos that will take place in Concordia, Entre Ríos, Argentina on Saturday, November 2 and Sunday, November 3, 2024.

Concordia is preparing to welcome runners from different cities in Argentina, Uruguay, Chile, Paraguay, and Brazil, who will enjoy a unique competition in the incomparable landscape of the Salto Grande Lake.

The race will feature 5K, 12K, 25K, 50K, and 70K distances. The 70K distance will be held in two stages, as will the 50K. The first stage for the 70K and 50K will be on November 2, starting at Hotel Ayuí, covering a circuit specially designed for the area. While the second stage will take place on November 3, also starting at Hotel Ayuí. All stages are run on completely different circuits.

The other distances of 5K, 12K, and 25K will be run on Sunday, November 3, and their start and finish are scheduled at Hotel Ayuí, the event venue.

 

The Epicenter

The event is framed within the Uruguayan-Argentine border, a paradisiacal place worth experiencing from within.

The weather in the Litoral region at that time of year can be pleasant with hours of heat, sun, and enjoyment, but it can also surprise us with wind, rain, and humidity, which may force modifications to a strategic race plan, always ensuring the safety of the participants.

The participation modality will be individual for all distances, and participants may choose to compete in pairs of two members in the 25K, 50K, and 70K distances.
