This weekend, the Global Entrepreneurship Week took place in Concordia, an event promoted by the Municipality of Concordia that brought together more than 200 local entrepreneurs at the Centro de Empleados de Comercio. The event took place from morning until afternoon, combining training sessions, exchange of experiences, institutional dialogue, and a fair open to the public that had a very good turnout of residents.
The day began with the official opening and the presence of municipal authorities. Participants included the Secretary of Productive Development, Federico Schattenhofer; the Undersecretary of Development and Entrepreneurship, Gabriel Enguelberg; the Undersecretary of Social Development, Roberto Niez; the Director of Cooperativism and Associativism, Ariel Gorostegui; the Head of the Social Economy Department, Miguel Parra; the event organizer, Andrea Popelka; and the General Secretary of CEC Concordia, Juan José Simonetti.
During the morning, various local entrepreneurs shared their trajectories, lessons learned, strategies, and key concepts regarding entrepreneurship, addressing topics such as creativity, innovation, associativism, management, and networking. The authorities spoke with the participants, listening to concerns and delving into the current challenges faced by local projects.
A SPACE FOR GROWTH, MOTIVATION, AND EXCHANGE
The talks and presentations highlighted the importance of strengthening the entrepreneurial culture as a driver of local development. The technical teams emphasized the commitment and energy of the participants, and the relevance of having spaces that allow for boosting ideas, connecting projects, and promoting growth opportunities.
ENTREPRENEURIAL FAIR AND CLOSING WITH CULTURAL PROPOSALS
The event concluded in front of the first warehouse of the Port, where an entrepreneurial fair was held with stands featuring design, art, gastronomy, innovative products, and local trades. The event had sustained support from residents and families who visited the stalls and enjoyed the walk. The day included live music, street performers, and various cultural proposals, creating a pleasant and participatory atmosphere that highlighted the talent and creativity of the city's entrepreneurs.
The organizers highlighted that the day exceeded expectations, both in terms of participation and the quality of the exchanges generated: “This edition reaffirms that Concordia has enormous entrepreneurial potential. This is the path we will continue to follow: betting on local talent, generating training spaces, and creating more opportunities for our entrepreneurs to grow,” expressed organizer Andrea Popelka.
