This Wednesday, January 26, the Decentralized Sanitary Works Agency will proceed with the replacement of the intake pump at well two of the water treatment plant. The work will be carried out during the morning hours.
Starting at 7 a.m., work began, which includes the participation of a diver to perform tasks at depth. The replacement is necessary to continue improving the service. While the part is being replaced, the water treatment plant will stop receiving liquid for treatment. However, due to the existing reserve system, no major inconveniences are expected, except for the possibility that pressure may be reduced in some sectors of the city in the event of high consumption.
For this reason, it is recommended to make responsible use of the resource so as not to affect other residents, reminding that the city is in a water emergency due to the heat wave that has been recorded this month throughout the country. After the replacement of the part, the reactivation of the liquid intake for its potabilization will proceed.
