The Municipality of Concordia, through the Directorate of Citizen Participation, will carry out a new session of the “Vení, Informate y Participá” program, aimed at promoting dialogue, resident participation, and joint work with the community.
The activity will take place next Friday, May 29, from 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., at the Casa del Bicentenario – Punto Digital, located at 1779 Moulins, in the Víctor Oppel premises.
During the meeting, spaces for exchange with residents and institutions will be created, addressing proposals and initiatives aimed at community strengthening, neighborhood development, and the construction of a more inclusive and participatory city.
The Director of Citizen Participation, José Vedoya, highlighted the importance of these sessions by pointing out that “the participation of residents is fundamental to building public policies that are closer and more in line with the real needs of each neighborhood. These meetings allow us to listen, support, and work together with the community.”
Likewise, Vedoya remarked that “when residents participate, propose, and get involved, the social fabric is strengthened and tools are generated to improve everyone's quality of life.”
For his part, the Coordinator of Institutional Decentralization, Nicolás Lesa, expressed that “these spaces allow bringing the State closer to each neighborhood, promoting more active participation from residents and strengthening the bond between the community and institutions.” Furthermore, he added that “working in a decentralized manner makes it possible to know the needs of each sector up close and generate more efficient and participatory responses.”
This activity is part of the “Infrastructure and Development Plan towards the Bicentennial”, promoted by the municipal administration with the objective of strengthening the integral development of the city, promoting actions of inclusion, training, and generation of opportunities for the residents of Concordia.
The organizers invite the entire community to join this open and free-of-charge proposal, designed to continue building a city with greater citizen participation and collective commitment.
