The Municipality of Concordia, through the Undersecretariat of Education and Culture, invites the entire community to participate in the Honorary Cultural Performance, to be held next Wednesday, July 8, in commemoration of the 210th Anniversary of the Declaration of Argentine Independence, an artistic proposal specially conceived to celebrate our history, our identity, and the cultural legacy that unites us as a people.
Under the name "Tango and Folklore: Sounds of Independence," the gala proposes an emotional journey through the artistic expressions that accompanied the construction of Argentine identity. Through music, dance, and a carefully crafted staging, the show invites reflection on how folklore and tango, two of the most representative cultural manifestations of our country, continue to beat in the hearts of Argentines, 210 years after the declaration of our Independence.
Doors at the Teatro Odeón will open at 9:30 PM, while from 9:00 PM, the pedestrian street will be transformed into an open-air stage with the "Independence Gathering," an artistic recreation that will invite the public to immerse themselves in the atmosphere of the era through the music, dance, and customs that marked the first years of our Nation. This proposal will be led by the Municipal Folklore Ballet "Renovando Sueños" and the "Aromas Gauchas" Ballet, offering a warm welcome to those who come to share this very special night.
PERFORMANCE SCHEDULE
The Honorary Cultural Performance will feature the participation of prominent artists from our city, including Franco Pezzelatto and Daniel Esteche, who will be in charge of the musical opening of the gala; the Folklore Ballet "Sembrando Futuro," together with the Municipal Tango Ballet "La Flor del Tango," with a performance that will fuse two of the most representative expressions of our cultural identity; Diego Detona and Lucas Iriarte; the Folklore Ballet "Alas de Mi Patria"; Mateo Tano and Marcos Trzuskot; and the Municipal Folklore Ballet "Renovando Sueños," who will bring to life a show designed to move and pay tribute to the homeland through art.
The closing will be performed by the Music Band of the 6th Tank Cavalry Regiment "Blandengues," who will play the Argentine National Anthem at 12:00 AM.
"Independence gave us a Nation. Our culture gave it a soul." That is the essence that inspires this Honorary Cultural Performance, organized by the Undersecretariat of Education and Culture, a meeting where music and dance become protagonists to celebrate our roots, our memory, and the identity that, generation after generation, continues to live in every song, in every embrace, and on every stage.
The Municipality of Concordia invites residents and visitors to be part of this celebration, which proposes experiencing July 9th from an artistic and deeply emotional perspective, reaffirming that the history of our country is also written and transmitted through its culture.
TICKET DISTRIBUTION
The Directorate of Ceremonial and Protocol informs that next Monday, July 6, starting at 8:00 AM, free tickets for the Honorary Performance will be distributed.
There will be two tickets per person and it is on a first-come, first-served basis, at the Mayors' Hall, first floor of the Municipality of Concordia.
